Unsaid Goodbye Poem by Vishnu Pandit

Unsaid Goodbye

'The taste of your lips, still lingers around my,
as we parted with a kiss and no good bye.

time came, and I reached for my taxi door,
you were sinking, as I could see, in to the floor.

I wish I could hold you and pull you out of the blue,
take you in my arms, keep you company and never let go.

my heart stopped and parting from you made me ill,
the emotions took over as time stood still.

though I wondered why no tears were shed!
I knew, u were strong for me, but will take them to bed.

the moments pain was numbed by shock,
as I struggled to keep you in view, until the block.

the taxi took a turn and you were out of my sight,
my life paused then, only to begin with the return flight.'
