Unseen Riches Poem by Andrew Degen

Through its eyes
everything is left unforgotten
untold
by all who dwell upon it
with its mind open
its senses increase
advance
further than my own
things left unnoticed
are seen clearly
every detail
set in its mind
as if it had been there
since the beginning
everything that I ignoredis heard
as if a sing
sung in the night sky
every word
as graceful as the one before it
like a trance
unbreakable beneath me
enlightening my thoughts
my heart
and my soul
which weeps
with cries of envy
longing for its beauty
that is like no other
I have see before.
