At late night my heart yearns
To leave and fly beyond the scenes
To take this heaped up pain inside
To free the soul, and dropp aside
I lie down here and fade out
Voices in me flop and shout
Hug me! Release me! Cradle me!
Until I am free
Until I sleep! !
This night! My curse! My Blazing dream
Under its black carpet and the moon's beam
I still search for a warm bed
To fill my hunger for love
Until I am fed
In this night I crave for care
For my mother's scent in the air
And her soothing voice to hold me
In ever pure serenity
Whenever I shed & weep
Until I sleep! !
So alone now in these fantasies
In this bubbles of past memories
I stand cold, afraid, and bare
Lost in a storm of ghastly nightmares
Hey mother hear me if you're there
Your son crying of privation and despair
Please come over
Hold me forever
Hold me deep
Until I sleep! !
