I long to be beside you
I long to hold you tight
To kiss and make love to you
Each and every night

I long to caress you
In my own loving ways
And to always love you
Until the end of days

I long just to hold you
Even if it's just your hand
And standing beside each other
We'll make our final stand

I long to run my fingers
All through your hair
To hold and console you
Letting you know I'm there

I long to see you
And look you in the eyes
So you can see our love
Is real, and never a disguise

I long to be beside you
And let our hearts become one
To always be there for you
Until our life is done
