Until The Day I Die Poem by Francis Duggan

Until The Day I Die

Rating: 5.0

Until the day i die of Nature i will sing
The chilly days of Winter the birdsong of the Spring
The warm Summer days the freshening evening breeze
The butterflies at play around the flowering trees
The cool days of the Fall when deciduous leaves are turning brown
And drifting to the ground in the parkland of the town,
Until the day i die i will sing Nature's praise
The marvels of her World never ceases to amaze
I will sing Nature's praise i will laud her in song
To her i will return for to her i do belong
Until the day i die whenever that will be
I will sing Nature's praise the one true God to me
To her i will return when i will have had my day
And amongst her earthy bosom forever i will lay.
