Until Then Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Until Then

Rating: 5.0

My search for love
Ended in deep woods
Spring arrived, yet
The ground was full
Of fallen leaves
Brown and dry
Falling drizzle
Made rattling sound
Annoying the ear
Occasional bark
Of the hunter's dog
In the distance
Added to the discomfort.

Is love the serenity
That will disappear
Among the many
Surrounding disturbances?
Maybe I love
My present state
And should continue
Status quo
Others say
Find love
And turn life on
My own feelings
Are hidden so deep.

If love appears
From nowhere
And creates
Unexpected changes
Let it happen
I'll be open
I'll keep waiting
Until then.
