Untitled 001 Poem by Naledi Earthling

Untitled 001

Rating: 5.0

Days like these i don't know where i stand with myself
Caught up in a confusion web
Indecisiveness, diagnosed myself
Him or her come my way

Try to find the gradient
Looking for a corner in a circle
I ask myself, when will you be there
Show love compassion and care
For somebody you think is the fairest
And can't imagine life without them

On that i am certain
Love is stupid and has turned to a game
It is there, but intoxicated
Misused for perversion and turned to lust
I don't wanna be heartbroken

Torn between man and woman
My mind and body differ
This and that I'm picky i guess
Fairest one will never arrive
I pray they don't
I don't wanna hurt somebody's child

Torment them and belittle them
Or maybe spoil them with steaming love
Remember intoxicated, so they'll die
I'm afraid I'm not the kind
To fall in love
Be with that one
I call my ride or die

To my dearest one
When you do arrive
Know that I'm young at heart
Patience is insufficient
Insecurities are not distant
Trust is limited
My love maybe a mishap
But i do know that
What might happen is that
I might trip and fall

Deep feelings of doubt occasioned by the whimsical and temperamental nature of love, written with clarity of thought and mind. A nice creation Naledi. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
