Cassandra Xavier

Untitled - Poem by Cassandra Xavier

I adore that smile you put on your face once you see me,
that shy smirk which never fails to make my day.
The way your soft tousled hair feels as I gently run my fingers through it.
Your beautiful masculine arms when they're wrapped around me,
embodying me in your warmth.
You are my sweet savior.
You keep me safe in this ludicrous world
yet at the same time you are my pure source of insanity.
I hate you but at the same foolish moment
I love you
