Untitled Poem by Charles Walter Stansby Williams

Sailplane
Gracefully tapered
Gliding, soaring, climbing
Mind is at peace
Silence

Airship
Outdated antique
Cruising, mooring, tethered
Dinosaur of the sky
Nostalgia.

The trainer skimmed over the ground,
The instructor hollered 'Go around!'
The student hesitated,
The instructor waited,
We all heard a crashing sound.

Plane crash that occurred during flying lessons well depicted in the poem. A well articulated and nicely penned piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
