Brenda Finch

Untitled - Poem by Brenda Finch

In the darkness
it creeps
subtly
quietly
moving in
to an
unsuspecting
heart

Lo and behold
it's already
moved in
lock
stock
n' barrel

so surreal
in its prowess
it takes over
just like
the Snow Queen
with Kay

bet'cha
didn't even know
it was there
did'ya?

Wake up.
