Joseph Rambeaut

Rookie (Raleigh, NC)

Untitled - Poem by Joseph Rambeaut

Tears of blood stream down my face
as the razor dances its way across her flesh
draining away the pain of life
moving toward the serenity called death
each step brings another tear
until nothing is left but a crimson pool
the dancing stops
as my body drops-
three words escape along with my last breath
into and endless echo in the depths of your mind:
I Love You.
