Tears form in my eyes
As I hear the news.
Thinking of the last time
I had seen your face.
It was just the other day too.
You're my godmother
But you are gone just like that
So fast,
I'm sitting here
I cannot believe what I am hearing.
You were murdered at the lake!

Why you?
Why now?
No words can ever
Explain that feeling
Of you in my mind
Gone like the flash of lightening.

I never thought
You could be gone
I don't know what to feel
I don't know what to think
I am so confused
I am so scared
I am numb
I cannot feel anything.

I have cried every time I think of you
I had a good day for the fourth of July
With bad news ending this day.
You are gone!
I miss you so much already! ! ! ! ! ! !
You will never be forgotten
You are forever my godmother! ! ! ! ! !
