Untitled Poem by kelley fritz

Untitled

Those were days of summer gladdness, when my affections burn like stars in the sky, ever fresh and ever true. not a cloud of gathering trouble, that obscured then from the light, nor the blast of man made tempest on our relationship we brought ablight.

Time had changed and i'm in love with you, not doomed nor mourned from the happless lot, far away from friends and kindred, yet i will not say forgot. thus in your picture i see light, my heart has been lifted, and made by light.

Hope still whispers on is true, and in my desponding moments with strength our spirits do endure. evermore, for though the present day is enwrapped by clouds of gloom, yet through this hopes halo beaming, makes the future bright as noon.

This is amazing. Sounds kind of like it could be part of an epic song or something like that. You are quite talented, thanks for sharing.
