Untitled - Poem by britney carpenter
you left us here on earth.
you left behind your pain.
you shouldn't have gone so soon,
when you still had life to gain.
you had to go and
were runnign out of time.
we wanted you to stay,
but there was an up-hill battle to climb.
we had to face
what was on the way.
see what was ahead of us,
on that fatefull day.
finally it arrived.
the day you saw the light.
it seemed so long,
lasting far into the night.
you were so strong through it all,
you gave the best possible fight.
now you're gone, taken away.
the angels came by moonlight.
the eleventh month tenty third day.
gone forever, never coming back.
missing you dearly,
your love is now lacked.
we will see you again,
but good-bye for now.
until we reunite,
