Untitled Poem by Sara Jo Andrews

Untitled

Your dark ways,
Dark eyes painted black,
Your pale skin,
Your dark embrace,
Steals my heart, my soul.
Bending me to your ways,
Your blood stained lips,
Whispering, smiling, enchanting.
Your thirst empowering you,
Strengthens you,
Driving you away from me.
Why won’t you take me?
Make me one with the night.
I tempt you,
You smile and turn away,
Darkest nights,
Waiting for that enchanted hour, I stand yours.
