Jasper van der Spek

Untitled - Poem by Jasper van der Spek

we do not grow to it

and seek shelter

instead of placing roots

in being

when we bring life

it is with anguish

nothing can be conquered

when we try to understand

we raise our voice

instead of being part

in knowing

we turn away

and do not speak to it

Intuition. A curious thing. Seldom discussed as it is here. With good reason I
believe. I believe the writer makes much of it. There is nothing wrong in this.
A writer has a choice. A reader does too. Much may be made, but less may
    be produced in this context.
