Waste not; want not neither in time nor in love,
The heart always o’er powers the mind,
Take note and pay homage to the gods above,
Charge forward without hesitation or thought of regret.
Held firm to the warmth of Aphrodite’s heart,
Nay an ill word through the lover’s lips will pass,
‘Till from her brilliance the amorous youth doth depart,
Destined, always, to her grasp return.
Constant, fleeting, the elliptical spheres rotate,
Each turn signaling both the beginning and the end,
In all of nature the pattern reciprocates,
Love, in turn will always follow suit.
