Untitled Poem by Lilibeth Apat

Untitled

When alone in solitude, to myself I ask,
Whatever happened to both of us?
Never noticed we were drifting apart
‘Til it was too late, ‘til you were gone.

The feelings of today may not hold the next day
The sweet things we shared are now only memories
I’m not sure if I still love you
But I do miss the things you do
If, somehow, we’ll meet again, whatta we gonna do?

Love, with distance, diminishes after a time,
Without communication, no relationship can survive
A pity, losing something so good
Can’t do anything now, won’t even try, dude!
