Why when the world's so wide,
It only feels like heaven by your side?
Oh! how I wish that you knew,
about these feelings I have for you.

But I'll rather leave it unsaid
for it might change you, I'm afraid.
And so, the only thing I can do,
is be a friend who's hopelessly in love with you.

But it's a curse that every day I lie,
about these emotions I tried to hide.
I don't know how long I can keep them,
they're getting restless from within.

The faintest smiles and simplest hi’s
Just fills my stomach with butterflies.
And my heart, damn skips a beat
Every single moment we meet.

I want to drown into your dreamy eyes
And be free from the clutches of my own lies.
And tell you how I wanted your smile,
Of how I admired you all those while.
