Unveiled Poem by Shay Mitchell

Unveiled

I wake to her dying screams,
and comfort her back into silence.
I taste her bleeding tears,
as she relys on my words of hope.
I feel her helpless trembling,
when his memory takes her numbness.
I fear her beliefs written along her skin,
lost in pain beyond reach.

I hate her countless indecisions,
where i have to push for a response.
I try to bleed her out,
yet seem to forever fail.
She is the girl i am,
she is the disguised girl.
Scarred beyond recognition,
she is the me i found.
After purposefully losing,
She is the Shayenne you fail to see.

She is the part of me that kills slowly,
we are the person you need to fear.
We live alone.
Pushing you away,
is the way we live.
We will slice so deep,
you'll never forget.
Run far away,
just like everyone else we thought we trusted.
