A caged bird, who tried to fly
Her voice was silenced, the echo of heart denied
Love was her language, but it was rare
A single dose, a moment to share
Once full of life, with emotions bright
Reduced to a robot, working day and night
Commands and tasks, no room to feel
A heart that was numb, a soul whose voice was unheard
A wife, a mother living for others
As if born to give, without a fail
Slowly forgotten herself, her own desires
Buried in the cave of other's fire
Though deep inside a spark remains
A flame that flickers, with heart refrains
Longing to break free, to spread her wings
To find her voice and let her spirit sing
