Unwanted Whispers Poem by Haley Brown

Unwanted Whispers

As you whispered in my ear,
I tried so hard not to hear.

The aroma of colonge and ciggarettes fill the air.
The two I mostly fear.

You said it wouldn't hurt the outside.
You were right. It was the inside.

I was the one everyone loved.
Now its only me in my own little zone. I'm so different.
No one cares.

As you whispered in my ear.
I tried so hard not to hear.
