Trying To Bounce Back Poem by Haley Brown

Trying To Bounce Back

I'm lost and on my own
No one can make me laugh.
Just wanna be alone
Just wanna spead my wings and fly away.

I carry more than I should
I always look back but I never forget
What you did,
Its not something I can just push away.
I can't seem to forgive you,
You have to realize that forgivness,
Isn't such a simple word.

I've paid the price,
I'm not ready to let you back in.
Its too late to make it right.
I just wish I could move on.

Now, I'm runnin' from myself
Wanting to be whole again.
Trying to learn from my mistakes,

Don't be like me,
Don't let one thing pull you down.
Keep your head up!

I was drawn to this poem because of the title. I have one with a similar title. Actually, it's a limerick and so I have it listed this way: Limerick: Bounce Back I really enjoyed reading yours.
