Unwavering Love Poem by Moffat Thepoet

Unwavering Love

In my love life, chaos has reigned
Each attempt at love, only pain
With every heartbreak, my interest wanes Loving someone who doesn't love me, it's insane

She once showed genuine affection, that's true
I refuse to give up, I still long for her too I won't walk away, pretending we never met Hoping fate will bring us together, I won't forget

Emotionally attached, growing old side by side My love for her is real, it won't subside I won't take a break from what I feel No matter what she says, my love is real

Before her, my life was empty and bleak
But after meeting her, I found the strength to seek A future where she's by my side, I believe Better things take time, and I won't grieve

If you're reading this, know someone loves you true Someone who can't sleep without thoughts of you I'm not incomplete, but you make me whole I can't solve your problems, but I'll be your stronghold

In public, I won't let anyone speak ill of you When you're lonely, I'll be there, it's true When hope fades, I'll revive it for you Though I can't be with you always, you're in my heart, it's true
