Upon My Dream Poem by Ency Bearis

Upon My Dream

Rating: 5.0

The time I reached the age of teenager
Albeit youth life is happy-go-lucky
And teenage minds are fickle, change daily
It was not in me, the life does matter
For I had a dream, being poor we were

Indeed, I took life with dream to be good
Poor life is mountain ridge with deep ravine
With struggle climbing median life scene
I dreamt to overcome poorness, I should
For with my optimism is faith, I could

Courage upon me is sealed in - can
Sealed ambition much let me assert
With persistence, determined with effort
Along with my willpower, be strongman
On the subject of - if I can, I can

With me, persistence is self-direction
To move forward with my aptitude
Advance on, and reach life of ease I viewed
Though life is snow covered mountain
Upon my dream, I can with volition
