Upon These Wings Poem by Rickardo BecklesBurrowes

Upon These Wings

Rating: 4.5

Higher and higher
with no sense of self
below human dots race around crazy
above peace reigns serene
air and light flawless,
essence of creation cradled here.
Underneath, jagged aged eyes look up
a life of plenty, a life endless in its iris
for a much needed silence entering softly.
Sunlight tumbling across vision childlike
no fear, no sadness left up here
only new possibility ahead.

Taken from Journey.
