Urban Men And Their City Culture Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Urban Men And Their City Culture

We in the Jurassic Park
Viewing fossils,
Robots giving us the roadmap,
The children park
But with cemented bears, tigers and swans
All but made from cement,
The mini rails running on flyovers
And the tunnel train going through the tunnels,

Living a life like the caged birds
Fluttering on the rooftops, by the windows,
We know it not when spring comes,
When it winter,
Life lived in congested space,
Wanting to be free,
But can we ever? |
