Us - Poem by joshua madiba

Black as coal.
Black as colour.
Black is skin;
but pure is the heart.
That units us as brothers.
On the streets where we lived.
And we worked for our lives;
but we where later agitated for.
We the dark people.
Black as coal.
Black as colour.

    everything black
    that's outside

    but inside
    the pure white
    the pure gold
    the pure diamond
    the pure love

    for whole mankind!
