Used Poem by Christina Rew

Used

You used me
I thought you were the key
But the truth is you just used me
So now I will never be free
I thought you loved me
But I was wrong
I thought you were my forever
I thought you were my song
Now I lay here in a crumpled mess
Now feeling less
You used me
And used is all i'll ever be

The rhythm is very nice, even though the sentiment is very sad (even hopeless) . The rhyming sounds ring nicely too. I would use a different title though to intrigue the reader since you do use used several more time. Perhaps you could read a poem of mine which tells of a very similar experience. A Fine Musician (You Played Me) Anti-Love Poem.
