Useless Words That Need Not Be Uttered
pity, sympathy,
illwill, backbites,
fear, rage, anger,
envy,
need you utter them?
to the man drunk with his failures
(or even success)
do not, they serve no purpose
but to make pain more serious,
intoxicating
seeping, penetrating pain
grief,
lamentations
just a tap,
a hug,
an embrace, a gentle gaze,
a shake of the hand,
or just sitting beside him
in silence, , , , , , , , ,
