Using My Fingers And Toes Poem by Sam Price

Using My Fingers And Toes

One is first,
Then Two and more.
Three is followed,
Closely by Four.
Five and Six,
Seven and Eight.
To run out of numbers,
Would be something I’d hate.
Nine is fine,
Ten is heaven.
I will not stop,
‘Till I’m well past eleven.
Twelve is next,
And by some means.
I’ve somehow managed,
To arrive at the dreaded teens.
Thirteen, Fourteen,
Fifthteen and then some.
I think I’ll soon finish,
With my rhyming sum.
Sixteen, Seventeen,
Two more will be plenty.
Eighteen, Nineteen,
Now I think I’ll stop at Twenty,
