Verandah joins the worlds
separated by the door frame;
pushes back the outside chaos
from breaking into the inner calms...


Verandah listens silently
to the whispers of the walls;
untold stories of the other side
of love, faith and betrayals….


Verandah happily embraces plurality
changes as per the houses whims;
a playground now, a meeting place then
it dresses as per the scenes…


Like a sage, verandah remains aloof
standing calmly between turmoil and chaos;
serene and unmoved from its own place
yet celebrating the joys and sensing the pathos...
