Veranda of Your Irises Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Veranda of Your Irises

Rating: 5.0

Let me lounge,
In the veranda,
Of your irises

Those eyes,
Are so warm,
Lovely,
and mesmerizing

They have shined,
And shine,
With lavendar stars in them

They have wept,
Beautiful oceans

They have sighed,
And sigh,
with intimate sunsets

Those irises,
They have kissed flowers,
Too lovely to touch

Let me lounge,
In the veranda,
Of your irises,
They are lovely, lonely,
And Mesmerizing

Let me lounge,
In the veranda,
Of your irises

The love in them,
Is lovelier than the rose moon
