Verdict Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Verdict

Each time waiting
Waiting, for the verdict!
No norm, no order
No unanimous agenda
World over-
Might is getting right
Worldwide, jungle-rule
Prevails in the jungle
Of civilized living beings.

Against the natural unity
Ethnic pressure groups
Posing unity in diversity
Of thoughts-
Way of life and style.
In total violation
Of universal human laws
And natural justice.

As state of affairs, of today's
Living, in ancient centuries
Still, sticking to an ethics-
Derived from ancient times
Due to faith in politicians
Devils and not in divine
Each time waiting for
For their deduced verdict!
