Vessel That Swings Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Vessel That Swings

Vessel that swings
Here and there
In the murky seas
Amidst the waves
That spare no rock
From stunning it to shock.

The night
Knows that it will
Be re-born
In ever-increase
Fears not the storm.

And thus the drums of winter play
Into the night
Though they flee not at day!
