Veteran's Day Usa 2007 - Poem by Tom J. Mariani

At age 18
My Dad was somewhere
In the South Pacific
Flying in the darkness
As a tailgunner in WW II

At age 18
I was in college
Working part-time
At a job
He got me

Saving some money
For my first car
Borrowing his
To date girls
And think about what's next

Thanks Dad
