Victory Poem by Dorothea Gift Of God

Victory

Victory over death we hope we see.
Has my victory gone without me.
Victory died without me.
Victory can it come back and find the dead lost in slavery.
I am a victim of victory some might say, but I’m more victorious each and everyday.
A victim I was but I did not stay, vicarious we slaves have become everyday.
