Village Life - Poem by Tony Winters
This world is just a village
In God's universal plan.
A planet placed in space
As a learning ground for man.
Its not like going into school
And starting at the bottom,
As the lessons that are taught
Must never be forgotten.
There's temptation and evil
In many disguises
To confuse and lead us astray.
There's hate and lust
Sent to beguile us,
As the devil tries to get his own way.
But there's only one God
And His lesson is clear.
If you accept His love,
You have nothing to fear
If you live your life His way.
