mountains
the catalyst

pursuing
essence

landscape
its very being
its vitality
its flux
its constancy

sunflowers
irises
blossoming
almonds
a few of
the creme
de la creme

The paintings of Van Gogh seem to invite poetry. Those irises and sunflowers and olive trees seem more alive than we mere human beings. Nicely executed poem, in short, effective lines.
