Violets Are Always Violets. - Poem by agisha presaliya

Roses are red and violets are blue ... that's what they say; but it just isn't true... roses are red and apples too; but violets are violets, violets aren't blue! an orange is an orange... but Greenland isn't so! a pink isn't pink...so, what does it, mean? ... to call something when isn't so...but what hell to rhyme a violet poem.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this poem because, I love violet color, many days, I thought of a poem and I did

    You are doing well at writing a poem. The construct may need a little work but the content is lovely. May I point out some tips for you? Each line should end after the word to which you wish to rhyme and in most poems each line begins with a capital letter.
    Roses are red and violets are blue...
    That's what they say; but it just isn't true...
    Roses are red and apples too;
    But violets are violets, violets aren't blue!
    An orange is an orange... but Greenland isn't so!
    A pink isn't pink...so, what does it, mean? ...
    To call something when isn't so...
    But what hell to rhyme a violet poem.
    May I note that you were doing just fine and very well. My suggestion would be
    (Violets are violets but they aren't blue!
    An orange is an orange... Greenland isn't green!)
    Your problem isn't with rhyming violet, but poem.
    A pleasant and enjoyable poem.
