Virgil Our Love (In Memorial) Poem by Luke Easter

Virgil Our Love (In Memorial)

In loving memory,
Our paths cross today,
With many special thoughts,
Each in our own way.

Brothers, sisters, daughters and sons,
Countless relatives and friends,
This is really not goodbye Virgil Our Love,
But a new beginning to an untimely end.

Your life was lived in earnest,
Many times with others needs in mind,
There was a special joy and comfort,
Putting yourself at the end of the line.

The past is now but a second,
As we gather with the present in mind,
The future is life eternal,
In the House of Christ there is no time.

So today we part your company,
Love in our hearts and tears in the eyes,
Sadness will soon be filled with joy,
Once we’ve come to realize.

The road is never traveled alone,
Yet there’s danger in many paths on the side,
We fear not for you Virgil Our Love,
For Christ Jesus truly is your guide.
