Virgin Veils Poem by Samantha Campbell

Virgin Veils

Lately I've been dreaming in vague riddles
of deep sleep scenes in broken segments

I Can't make heads or tails of this

Blurry vision
Subconscious schisms

Turn the pages
and step on in...

Tender curves
naughty yearnings
of burning wanton flesh
deep inside my maiden depths

To myths and tales beyond the virgin veils

To the poetic Gods whispering verses
making words collide in the center of my soul
bursting and exploding outwardly infinitely

Inhuman things you hope aren't real

Obtuse lessons Shadow blessings
Seems like reality but I can't tell
If there's deeper meaning
or mental cleaning or even
prophecies within

Yet daily I ponder the elusive wonders
that ferment in my mind
when I'm out cold

Pulses racing The dark embracing
Flying high above worlds

But when the horizon breaks
and now I'm awake
How may I grasp
the oddities
my sleeping
mind creates
