Vivian Poem by J.B. LeBuert

Vivian

Rating: 5.0

Vivacious Vivian, she brings a smile to my face.
She has come into my life, it must be by grace.
When she talks her eyes really light up and glisten.
I can't help but take notice and smilingly listen.

I often see her getting a tan in the sun.
I must divulge that her company is fun.
Her color reminds me of something truly divine;
Her skin is the color of nectar, golden and sublime.

Her beautiful hair has many shades and is quite long.
She may be self-critical, but I see nothing wrong.
She is kind and generous with her valuable time.
I'm grateful for that, it inspired me to rhyme.

She gave me a hug and my heart skipped a beat.
A gift so much better than any other treat.
I'll treasure her friendship the rest of my days,
It's better than money or Broadway plays.

Her captivating spirit is one of a kind;
She's one in a million, and truly a find.
I've probably said too much in this poem;
But I'll really miss her when she goes home.
