Voices Poem by Daniel R Sims

Voices

Rating: 5.0

As I lie awake in bed stuck in this awful place the clock upon the wall is laughing in my face

I close my eyes and try to rest to silence the voices I do my best

I scream out loud just leave me alone what they say back to me chills me to the Bone

I will not repeat what they say to me for if I did you may think I'm crazy

Maybe I am crazy gone completely insane or is it the drugs of my past have a rotted my brain

My thoughts grow to be as dark as dark as the room if the voices continue they will surely drag me to my Doom
