Void Poem by Louise Myers

Void

My life had such a void that I could not fill,
Parties, hobbies, etc., yet it remained there still,

Till one day my eyes were opened to truly see,
The cross lifted high at a place called Calvary,

The King of Kings was crucified on a wooden tree that day,
The price for all sinners, His life He gave to pay,

The void is now filled for Jesus lives in my heart,
I'm standing on the promise from me He'll never part,

This amazing love is not just mine but for you as well,
If you'll invite Him to come into your heart to dwell.
