Wait Is Fragile Poem by ashish Singh

Wait Is Fragile

Rating: 3.0

i had been waiting
with hopes in eyes and roses in hand
with glass of wine and melodies of the band
with gulps of water and lumps of bread
with egloss of lips and sweat wholespread
with lap of your legs and pillow of your arms
with brink of the sea and green of the farms

i had been waiting
you don't know and why should you
my act was mine and not for you
i have faced the darkness, i had been through the lights
i have chosen you despite all delights
as you make my heart skip a beat, you should know what it means
it means what it means and it should mean what it meant
with roses in my hand and gossips in my mind
in my dreams in my wakes, in my lands in my lakes
i had been waiting, waiting and waiting for you

Waiting is a form of torture. Nice poem, Ashish. Thanks for sharing
