Waited World Poem by Amanda Eckols

Waited World

Sinister thoughts, sinister deeds
A helping hand need not impede
The deep dark depths of the mind
Turned around knife twisted
Self defense against ones self
Blood flows either way, So what to do
Tell lies and make believe
The world is worth it, all can see
Light will come carrying hope
And joy shall triumph in theory
and theory alone can not hold up
the weight of the world
of all my mistake this is not one
