Waiting Poem by O Stephen Peart

Waiting

The reality of not having,
Is one of awakening;
For not until I see,
The absence that I'm awaiting.

The longing in my heart,
To share and be a part;
For every day I dream,
A future, to complete the theme.

For at each moment in time,
When there is no one to find;
I wonder what it means,
To not have someone share my dreams.

So I wait to discover,
For there is someone that can uncover;
That which lies dormant inside,
To be reveal when our hearts truly find.
