Waiting Poem by Gianfranco Aurilio

Waiting

I spent hours
in that waiting-room
and you were right in front of me.
Hours spent looking at each other,
embracing each other with our eyes
silently
while our bodies were shouting.
I left
but you'll remain forever with me,
the longing of a lifetime

and I don't even know
your name.
