Waiting For My Death. Poem by Ramesh Kavdia

Waiting For My Death.

Rating: 5.0

I have seen
birth
love
care
hatred
jealousy
pleasure
joy
anger
light
darkness
and now
I am waiting for my death
every time
it come to me
and escapes suddenly
just gives a new pain
to my body
ruins my body
leaving hope in my eyes
that next pain will be the last one
and I will see my death.
Death is beginning
or an end
who knows, cannot tell
for me to know
I have to die
but my photo frame on wall
will not tell you
death is mystic
jumping beyond
mind and body
so I wait
I wait for my death
to journey of unknown
to get rid of
- my pain
- my sufferings
- my knowledge
alas! my last wish is
to see my death by my own eyes
to feel the change of my era.
